King Killa is a rapper, singer and artist from New Orleans, Louisiana, specifically from the St. Bernard projects' 7th ward neighborhood. "From the real ghetto and I have grown to become the voice of the projects," says Killa of his upbringing. When it comes to being an artist, he is genuinely "one of a kind." He claims he can handle anything! One of the most varied performers now working, his music speaks for itself. He believes that demonstrating his skills is superior to telling. He is talented in singing, dancing, rapping and so much more. He enjoys expressing his opinion and speaking straight from the heart. He shares stories about himself, his experiences, and the things he has experienced. The majority of the time, he spits hardcore, raw lyrics that are all factually based on the things he has done in the past and the events that occurred in some of those circumstances. 

 

One of the most significant was the 19 months he just served in prison for possessing a firearm and drugs. The music industry has seen quite a few highlights for Killa as well. He was a member of "The Youngest1s," a "Super Rap Group." In 2012, the trio released a record-breaking two "World Premier" videos for the song "She Knows" on BET and 106 & Park's New Joint Of The Day. He released "Babu," which included popular producer and recording artist, S-8ighty, as a follow-up in 2013. Killa has received recognition for his abilities by appearing in more than four music videos on the MTV Jams platform.

 

Drumma Boy, a Grammy award winning artist, produced his tunes. He has collaborated on features with well-known and local artists like Kevin Gates, Jr Writer from Dipset, Nut The Kid from G Unit, and QC's Young Greatness. Years ago, the two worked together to create a memorable song. Young Greatness, who lived in the St. Bernard projects nearby, was a close friend.
